Causes:
Diagnosis
Diagnosis of fatigue is made by a doctor or medical professional. Fatigue diagnosis may be broad as fatigue is a symptom that falls under many conditions.
Treatment
Treatment for fatigue may be accomplished in different ways depending upon the specific condition. Medications may be taken in instances such as blood sugar level problems, thyroid issues and sleep disorders. Some infections may be treated with antibiotics. Vitamins and minerals may be used as beneficial (such as B12 if it is deficient, or iron to treat anemia). Exercise and dietary changes are also options in some fatigue cases. Avoiding caffeine consumption and smoking may be beneficial in keeping fatigue away for some patients.
